Questions Due Date: 08/23/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Trunkline Replacement and External Repairs Project Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the pricing form. The Work consists of and includes all materials, equipment and labor necessary to furnish and install the following sanitary and storm sewer facilities and other miscellaneous work shown on the Drawings, Appendix A and noted in the Specifications: Lot 1 - PC-2E/2F Trunkline Replacement (Base Bid): 3,450 linear feet of 8-inch diameter and 565 lineal feet of 10-inch diameter gravity sewer, installation/ replacement of approximately 20 manholes, and reconnection of approximately 21 existing laterals. The work also consists of furnishing and installing approximately 350 linear feet of 6, 18, 24, 77x52 and 60inch diameter storm sewer; placing new inlets, new headwalls and endwalls. Lot 2 - Miscellaneous External Repairs (Base Bid): 1,700 linear feet of 8-inch diameter and 20 linear feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer replacement by traditional dig and replace, 200 linear feet of 8-inch diameter pipe install through pipe bursting, replacement of approximately 17 manholes Lot 3 - Miscellaneous External Repair - Repair No. 11 Friendship Center (Alternate Bid Item): 270 linear feet of 8-inch diameter and 70 linear feet of 10-inch diameter new sanitary sewer pipe and replacement of 76 linear feet of 12-inch diameter storm sewer, replacement of 2 manholes Lot 4 - Miscellaneous External Repair - Repair No. 12 Lyters Lane ROW (Alternate Bid Item): 160 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer and replacement of 2 manholes. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with the provisions in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Proposal must be complete, and the right is reserved to reject any and all Proposals and to accept any Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP.
