Guardrail Installation on Ida West Road at Stacy Drain SCOPE OF WORK 1. Coorindate with the Monroe County Road Commission (MCRC) by giving at least five (5) days notice prior to installing the new guardrail. MCRC crews will remove the existing guardrail and jersey barriers in advance of the Contractor installing the new guardrail. 2. Install two (2) each Guardrail Long Span, Detail MGS-2; two hundred fifty (250) feet Guardrail, Type MGS-8, 72-inch Post; four (4) each Guardrail Approach Terminal, Type 2M; and ten (10) each Guardrail Reflector. See the Guardrail Detail drawing attached to this proposal for installation layout. 3. Maintain one-lane, two-way traffic on Ida West Road with traffic regulators in accordance with the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices and Traffic Control Typical 110-TR-NFW-2L. Channelizing devices shall be either 28 inch or 42 inch traffic cones. A vehicle with a flashing amber beacon may be used in lieu of the lighted arrow board shown on 110-TR-NFW-2L, and temporary Speed Limits signs (R2-1) will not be required. 4. All work shall be completed on or before September 30, 2024. Question Deadline 08/08/2024
