Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

All questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to Cole.McGruder@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than, 2:00 pm PST Time on 07/29/2024. The Government reserves the right to not answer questions not meeting this timeline. All responses to questions will be incorporated into a written amendment. The Offeror shall submit the RFQ with the signed SF1449 (All pages) electronically to Cole.McGruder@va.gov by the time and date specified on Block 8 of the SF1449. Provide all labor, materials / parts, and transportation to replace Johnson Control Metasys Network Automation Engine (NAE) 19 with a new Johnson Control SNE Network Engine (SNE) M4-SNE. o Provide all hardware, and miscellaneous material for installing new Johnson Control Network Engine (SNE) M4-SNE. o Program and commission SNE and associated equipment. o Backup and remove existing (1) Network Automation Engine (NAE-19) o Provide and install (1) Metasys Supervisory Network Engine (SNE) o Reuse existing MSTP wire connections. o Reuse existing Network IP connections. o Reuse existing Power supply. o Set up SNE on existing Metasys server. o Provide setup and checkout of JCI control module. o Provide Engineering submittals (shop drawings) in AUTOCAD22 and PDF format, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings. o The contractor will perform all necessary programing and modifications with VASDHS Johnson Control Metasys System to maintain the same reporting and trending abilities prior to the replacement of the NAE 19. o Provide all necessary plenum-rated low voltage control wiring and communication cabling for all equipment listed above. (Conduit will be used for wiring in exposed areas such as outdoors and mechanical/electrical rooms.) o Sequence of operation programming, integration, software applications, point database, graphics w/ floor plans, alarming, and data trending configurations. o Perform a full system performance verification at the end of the installation. o Excludes repairs to existing components. o All necessary waste disposal, recycling, and jobsite cleanup. o Arrange time/date to replace all required equipment with the Engineering Supervisor and minimize impact to patient care. o Complete all required replacements utilizing materials and parts that meet or exceed all applicable VA requirements/standards. o Return the system to operation notifying all applicable units served by the equipment in accordance with all applicable VA requirements/standards. o Provide documentation to include parts used and warranty information to enable VA staff the ability to maintain the system properly following the repair. o Provide comprehensive reports on the initial status of the system, work completed to restore the functionality of the system, and final operating conditions of the system. o Provide invoices prior to submitting to Tungsten at the end of each month.
