Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Capital Protection Section (CPS) - SWAT, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Semi-Annual Hangar Door Maintenance Services in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement. a. Contractor State License Board Requirement: C-28 Lock and Security Equipment, or C-61 Limited Specialty with D-28 Doors, Gates, and Activate Devices b. Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements found in this Agreement. If the contract price exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish an original payment bond and a duplicate copy to accompany the contract in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. The bond MUST be prepared on the STD 807 form, Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract, provided to the Contractor by CHP before execution of the contract. If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the contract amount exceeds $10,000, the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2027.
