Removal of sediment deposit from the debris basin adjacent to Lauro Canyon Reservoir ("Lauro Debris Basin") and removal of a tree which fell from sustained damage from the 2023-2024 winter season debris inflows. Location Lauro Canyon Reservoir in Santa Barbara, CA Contract questions should be directed to Joel Degner at COMB. Bids must be prepared on the approved Proposal forms in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in an envelope, sealed and plainly marked on the outside, " Sealed Bid for the COMB 2024 Lauro Debris Basin Clearing Project." The bid must be accompanied by certified or cashier's check or bidder's bond, made payable to the Board for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to make no award whatsoever, the right to waive any irregularity, and the right to take all bids under advisement for a period of sixty (60) calendar days following the bid opening date. The Contractor shall guarantee their prices for this 60-day period, and for the duration of the contract. This Project would remove the sediment accumulated and fallen tree in the Lauro Debris Basin. The Project will also restore the area in accordance with stated recommendations and specifications. COMB expects the Project to be completed by October 15, 2024.
