Demolition of Existing Cesspool and Construction of new Septic System: Uncover existing cesspool, pump liquid effluent if necessary, fill with inert material, compact and abandon in place. Township to inspect and to receive pump invoice, if applicable. Provision of new 1000-gallon, one (1) compartment, precast septic tank with risers and locking manhole covers, tank label and outlet effluent filter. New 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC conveyance line from interior building sewer line to new septic tank, and from new septic tank to new disposal field. Construction of new disposal field in accordance with Exhibit A. At a minimum, disposal field to be constructed with: Distribution box sized in accordance with size of disposal field. Schedule 40 PVC lateral pipes for distribution of septic effluent. Requisite four (4) foot vertical layer of suitable fill for zone of treatment and four (4) foot zone of disposal (i.e., select fill or C33 fill), unless alternate, compliant design is proposed. 18-inch vertical layer of clean gravel. Filter fabric or salt hay. Final grading with nine (9) inches to 18 inches of cover, including a minimum of four (4) inches of topsoil.
