PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF WORK a) Scope of Work - See Attachment 10 and Attachment 11, Model Contract Exhibit A - Scope of Work and Model Contract Exhibit A1 -Plans & Materials Cost Estimate, for a detailed description of the services and work to be performed as a result of this procurement. b) Purpose - The purpose of this Agreement is construction/installation of a perimeter security fence and gates at the Huntington Beach Field Office to provide: i) Enhanced Security: Security fencing and gates help prevent unauthorized access, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors can enter the premises. ii) Deterrence: The presence of physical barriers can deter potential intruders, vandals, and other threats. iii) Safety: Fencing and gates can provide a safe environment for employees and visitors by keeping out potential threats and ensuring that the premises are secure from outside dangers. iv) Perimeter Security: Physical barriers define the boundaries of the property, making it easier to monitor and control the perimeter. c) Location of Work - The work is located in Orange County at the State Lands Commission, Huntington Beach Field Office, 1700 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
