As of September 25th, 2024 - no award is expected to be made on this project until after the October board meeting. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashierÕs check or bid bond. The Successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date for receipt of bids. Bidders must meet requirements of the State of Louisiana ContractorÕs Licensing Law R.S. 37:2151-2163. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies and provisions, produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State. Preference provided by R.S. 38:225 will be used if applicable. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids which deviate from the project plans and specifications. The project consists of new building construction and renovations, along with sitework, paving and synthetic turf ballfield conversion work located at Mansfield High School in Mansfield, LA.The project is anticipated to be a BASE BID with one Additive Alternate. o Construction of new: softball concessions and restroom building, bleachers and press boxes, multipurpose covered practice facility, and equipment storage building. o Renovation of existing: concessions and restroom building, baseball dugouts. o Selected demolition as scheduled.
