State Project Number 75FF0023 Boiler and Water Heater Upgrades, Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls This solicitation has been designated to be awarded to a State of Minnesota Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Business. ONLY responses received from Contractors that are TG/ED/VO certified through the Department of Administration, Office of Equity in Procurement, will be considered. A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: Mechanical, Electrical, and Roofing construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Demolition of summer boiler and (3) existing water heaters. 2. Demolition of associated existing DHW, heating piping, and ductwork. 3. Installation of (3) new heat exchanger type water heaters and (2) new boilers. 4. Installation of associated new DHW, heating piping, and ductwork to support new equipment. 5. Disconnection of existing equipment and reconnection of new equipment to electrical power systems. Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a subcontractor, the work for at least 3 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since July 1st, 2019, for construction of mechanical system replacement involving boilers, chillers, or HVAC equipment replacement with associated electrical upgrades. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $350,000 or greater. Project Manager responsible for this project has completed at least 3 contracts and has at least 5 years of experience with mechanical system replacement involving boilers, chillers, or HVAC equipment replacement with associated electrical upgrades similar in scope and value to this project. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $350,000 or greater.
