The West Live Oak Rd Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension Project generally includes the construction of water and sanitary sewer line infrastructure to support the West Live Oak Road annexation. The project includes the installation of pipe, valves, fire hydrants, pipe fittings, manholes, and trench and street repairs in accordance with the specifications and details set forth in these bid documents. Construction of these items shall include labor, material, traffic control, equipment and any other necessary incidentals needed to complete the construction. Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bidders maximum bid price, as described in Section 00100 Instructions to Bidders. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as described in Section 00700 General Conditions. The City of Fredericksburg reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in any BID, the OWNER reserves the right to determine which BIDS are the lowest and/or best, and to award the contract on this basis.
