Competitive Sealed Proposals for Chico ISD - New ADA Sidewalk are being accepted by Chico Independent School District, hereinafter called the Owner. Proposers are encouraged to put forth their best efforts on the proposals submitted. Within 10 days of such opening, the proposals will be evaluated and ranked according to evaluation criteria set forth in such RFP. If the Owner is unable to reach contract agreement with the offeror which offers the best value for the Owner, then discussions will be terminated and the Owner shall enter into discussions with the next offeror in order of ranking until a contract agreement is reached or all proposals are rejected. Upon notification of potential selections for award, the person or entity submitting the proposal must give notice to this project's Owner, if the owner or operator of the proposing business entity has been convicted of a felony (this requirement does not apply to a publicly held corporation). All offerors will be required to comply with provisions of TEXASGOVERNMENT CODE of the State of Texas with respect to the payment of prevailing wage rates, applicable city ordinances, and equal employment practices. Evidence of worker's compensation insurance coverage for the person's or entity's employees providing services on the project will be required for the duration of the work.
