The Marin Municipal Water District is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a licensed and certified portable fire extinguisher services consultant to provide consulting services for fire extinguisher deployment, inspection, maintenance, testing, and replacement services for approximately 400 portable fire extinguishers throughout the Districts facilities, fleet vehicles, and equipment. Inquiries Questions about this RFP shall be directed to the Districts Facilities Maintenance Department by email and be referred to: Mike Snieg, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor msnieg@marinwater.org All questions shall be submitted to the District by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Answers to any questions received prior to the above deadline will be posted online prior to the RFP submission due by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Term of Agreement Term of agreement is anticipated to be up to a total of three (3) years, comprised of an initial two (2) year term with the provision of one (1) additional one (1) year term. The agreement start date is anticipated to be October 1, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
