Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hamilton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of September 19, 2024, project was awarded to Robinson Paving with an awarded amount of $2,206,641.04. Harris County is accepting sealed written bids for the resurfacing of five (5) county roads, a total distance of 10.26 miles to include traffic control, tack, leveling, turnouts, asphalt, shoulder work, grassing and striping. Bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's or certified check, in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. This bid bond will be returned to bidders when the project is awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond. Payments to contractors will be made in periodic draws as submitted by the contractor. Project is to be completed by November 30, 2024, and must conform to GDOT specs. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bid arrives at the proper location by the time and date indicated. Harris County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bid submission details : Facsimile, e-mail, telephone, or late bids will not be accepted or considered. Responses received after the established deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. Note that some express mail and delivery services do not guarantee overnight delivery to Harris County by a specific time.
