This Project includes asbestos abatement, demolition and disposal of on-site structures and utilities, environmental remediation, excavation and disposal of below-grade improvements within the demolition limits, backfill, compaction, and site restoration of the Former Marion County Jail 1. The Former Marion County Jail 1 consists of approximately 310,000 square feet of former correctional/detention space that is situated on an approximate 2.0-acre site. Project Location: Former Marion County Jail 1 40 S Alabama Street, Indianapolis, Indiana August 22, 2024 Last Day to Request an Interpretation/Clarification All Work for this Project will be under a single prime contract with the Consolidated City of Indianapolis based on Bids received as set forth in the Project Manual, Drawings, and Contract Documents. Work to be performed shall include furnishing all necessary labor, machinery, tools, apparatus, materials, equipment, service and other necessary supplies for the asbestos abatement, demolition and disposal of on-site structures and site improvements, utility abandonment and removal, excavation and disposal of below grade improvements, backfill, compaction, and site restoration of the Marion County Jail 1 Project Site.
