Greenville County is seeking a RFP from a team of experienced General Contractors with expertise in rehabilitating historic structures, to renovate Slater Hall Community Center in accordance with the Contract Plans as outlined in the Project detail documents. SCOPE OF WORK SCOPE OF PROJECT IS LIMITED TO INTERIOR REHABILITATION. PRIMARY SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES IMPROVING ACCESSIBILITY OF THE FACILITY WITH AN ELEVATOR, REPLACEMENT OF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING, ELIMINATION OF EXISTING FIRE ESCAPES, RECONSTITUTING OCCUPANCY OF SECOND FLOOR FOR COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAM SPACE, PROVIDING APPROPRIATE LIFESAFETY AND EGRESS IMPROVEMENTS TO SUPPORT RESTORED FUNCTIONALITY OF THE FACILITY, AND REPAIRING EXISTING HISTORIC INTERIOR FINISHES.
