Site work and paving for a civil project in Fripp Island, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Installation of shoreline protection at the abutment of the Fripp Inlet Bridge on Fripp Island South Carolina.The project includes, but is not limited to: Installation of 2,700 tons of quarried armor stone, installation of 1,025 tons of SCDOT Class "A" riprap, additional granular backfill and or fabric, as needed, replacement of low height timber retaining wall and replacement of two (2) concrete drainage flumes. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Fripp Island Public Service District is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors for the installation of shoreline protection at the abutment of the Fripp Inlet Bridge on Fripp Island, South Carolina. The BID includes but is not limited to the following: - Installation of 2,700 tons of quarried armor stone - Installation of 1,025 tons SCDOT Class "A" riprap - Installation of additional clean granular backfill and/or filter fabric, as required - Replacement of a low height timber retaining wall - Replacement of (2) concrete drainage flumes Work shall be completed by April 2025.
