The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to enter into a firm fixed price contract with responsive and responsible vendor(s) to provide and deliver Access Control Equipment for the Granite School District. Items will be purchased on an “as needed basis”. The contract will go through the dates 09/03/2024 – 09/02/2025 and The contract resulting from this IFB will be for a period of one (1) year and will commence on date of award. The contract may be extended beyond the original contract period year-to-year for up to four (4) additional years at the school district’s discretion and by mutual agreement. The renewal will be on the same terms, prices and conditions set forth in this document and/or as negotiated between the successful supplier and the Purchasing Agent. If considering renewal, the District Purchasing Department will issue a contract amendment at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the current contract period for Vendor acceptance and signature. If the option is not exercised, then the contract shall automatically expire at the end of the contract term. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to be the sole judge of the merits and qualifications of all bids and the products submitted as “equal” to the district’s specifications
