Renovation of a library in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Engineer's Estimate for the entire project is $224,200. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price must be submitted with each proposal conditioned that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, shall execute a contract in conformity with the invitation and the bid. All questions from bidders concerning interpretation of contract documents must be in writing and submitted via email . SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS VIA EMAIL. The Successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond or certified check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. The project is subject to the following special provisions: 1. Owner is tax exempt. 2. Insurance requirements. 4. Substantial completion for the entire project no later than November 1, 2024. 5. Project is subject to liquidated damages for failing to complete the project within the specified time ($200/day). The Scioto County Public Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bids or to accept in whole or in part such bid or bids as may be deemed in the best interest of the purchaser. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best most responsive bidder.
