This Work consists of capturing As-built Asset Features in standard Asset Class deliverable formats. This Work consists of using automated machine guidance (AMG) to control the construction of subgrade, subbase, base course, and other Roadway structure Materials and in construction of ditches and other planned excavations and embankment designated on the Project for S.P. 8001-44 and S.P. 5605-24. This Work consists of providing credible and timely project information to the public and responding to the public's day-to-day needs, issues, and concerns. This work will consist of capturing source, hauler, and loading and delivery event data associated with the delivery of material to a contract in a standardized, digitalized format. This Work consists of building and basement removal performed in accordance with the provisions of S-26 (1701) LAWS TO BE OBSERVED (BUILDING REMOVALS OR MOVES) and MnDOT 2103 and MnDOT 2104. Assess and remove asbestos and regulated waste/material in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. This Work consists of loading and hauling salvaged Materials, not required for installation elsewhere under this Contract, to the designated storage area(s) and depositing the Materials to the satisfaction of the Engineer in accordance with MnDOT 2104. This Work consists of handling contaminated materials found on the Project; including soil, groundwater, debris and/or vapor. This Work consists of designing, detailing, and installing a column supported embankment (CSE) consisting of columns, load transfer platform (LTP), settlement monitoring, pore-water pressure monitoring and temporary Work to support the TH 10 WB roadway from Station 1615+00 to Station 1625+50 (Existing Sta. 286+00 to 292+50). This Work consists of modifications to the LGU, City of Wadena utility systems including, the excavation and subsequent backfill necessary to expose the watermains, sewers, etc. for the purpose of disconnecting or connecting to the new Work. The Work shall be performed in accordance with MnDOT Standard Specifications and the Division SU Special Provisions included in this Proposal Package. This Work consists of providing additional traffic control devices in accordance with S-127 (2563) TRAFFIC CONTROL and as authorized by the Engineer. The Engineer is authorized to: (1) Require extra traffic control devices in addition to the traffic control devices shown in the Traffic Control Plan or in the Field Manual. (2) Require additional traffic control devices for EXTRA WORK. (3) Require extended use for all traffic control devices which are impacted by excusable and compensable delays, as defined in MnDOT 1806.2B. (4) Negotiate compensation for a Lump Sum Payment. This Work consists of providing a Traffic Control Supervisor during all major traffic control modifications to this project in accordance with S-127 (2563) TRAFFIC CONTROL. The Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for managing the traffic control operations of the project, including those of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and suppliers. Traffic Control Management must be the Traffic Control Supervisor's primary responsibility. This Work consists of furnishing, installing, relocating, operating, maintaining and removing automated, portable, real-time Intelligent Work Zone (IWZ) system(s) meeting the requirements noted herein, during the duration of the Project. This Work consists of furnishing, installing, maintaining, and removing all traffic control devices required to provide safe movement of traffic and pedestrians through the Project at all times from commencement of the Work until Project Acceptance. Maintain roads and pedestrian facilities undergoing improvements in a condition that accommodates public traffic. Do not close roads or pedestrian facilities, except as authorized. The Engineer may modify the requirements for traffic control as deemed necessary. The Department will maintain Detour Roads established by the Commissioner for through traffic diverted from the Project unless otherwise indicated in the Plan. The use of maintenance crossovers in or near the construction area is permitted if authorized by the Engineer. The Contractor is not responsible for snow removal from roads or pedestrian facilities open to public traffic. Do not suspend operations for the winter until meeting the requirements of 1803.4, "Temporary Suspensions". During authorized winter suspension, the Department will maintain traffic control devices. If traffic control devices are damaged or destroyed, the Department will pay the Contractor the value of the device as determined by the Engineer. This Work combines the requirements of MnDOT 2573 with the temporary erosion control components of MnDOT 2575. It consists of designing and updating a Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (Temporary ESC Plan); managing stormwater, project-related water discharges, and project related pollutants; installing, maintaining, and removing temporary sediment controls; installing and maintaining temporary erosion prevention; and coordinating vegetation establishment Work. All of this is to be done as needed to keep the Project in full compliance with the NPDES Minnesota Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSW Permit), the Project Plans and SWPPP, these Provisions, and relevant Standard Specifications for the full duration of the Project and until permanent cover is established and the notice of termination for CSW Permit coverage has been submitted. This Work consists of removing, or salvaging, or both, in-place Materials in accordance with 2104 "Removing Pavement and Miscellaneous Structures", and as specified on the Plans and these Special Provisions. When specified on the Plans and these Special Provisions, this Work also consists of the following: (1) Disposing of Materials (2) Dismantling and cleaning Materials (3) Stockpiling and storing Materials (4) Handling, packaging, and loading Materials (5) Hauling and unloading Materials (6) Disconnecting electrical wiring, equipment, and components (7) Performing miscellaneous electrical Work (8) Excavating, backfilling depressions, holes, and trenches, and restoration Work (9) Other Work of a special nature as specified in the Contract or imposed by laws, ordinances, and regulations This Work consists of providing and installing materials, structures, and electrical equipment; and installing Department provided materials as specified for a complete operating new hardwire interconnected coordinated full-traffic-actuated traffic control signal systems at the intersection of TH 71 (Jefferson St) and Colfax Ave in Wadena, Wadena County,(SYSTEM C) in accordance with the 2565 "Traffic Control Signals," the Plans and these Special Provisions.
