For the following Project: Project TechCentral Renovation Cleveland Public Library 325 Superior Avenue NE Cleveland, OH 44114 in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by: Bostwick Design Partnership 2729 Prospect Ave. Cleveland, OH 44115 216.649.9403 Richard Ortmeyer, AIA ortmeyerr@bostwickdesign.com Located in the lower level of the Louis Stokes Wing, TechCentral will undergo an interior finish renovation. Project Area: existing 6,032 SF will receive improvements to an existing space. Improvements include but are not limited to: new carpet, paint, ceiling acoustical treatments, electrical and technology updates, and lighting retrofit to LED. The scope includes coordination with furniture and equipment to be procured under a separate contract. In compliance with Section 153.08 of the Ohio Revised Code, Bids for this Project are being received, opened, and published at the 10th floor Board Room of the Owner's Main Library, Louis Stokes Wing located at 525 Superior Avenue NE, Cleveland, OH 44114 on the date and time noted in the Instructions to Bidders below. All questions concerning the Project should be in writing via email and directed to Eric Herman, Cleveland Public Library Capital Project Manager, at eric.herman@cpl.org. All questions and answers will be shared via email to all plan holders on file. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to Eric Herman via email (eric.herman@cpl.org) no later than 5 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. If no Addendum is issued accepting the Proposed Substitution as an Approved Equal, the Proposed Substitution shall be considered rejected. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are applicable to this Project. Subcontract agreements must comply with the Subcontract Form # C190-00 52 14 for Limited Scope Projects, as found on the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission website.
