The project scope of work includes a complete roof replacement of multiple types of roof systems. The first system is a flat roof, constructed of Built-Up Modified Bitumen over concrete roof deck. The second roof assembly is a pitched roof with slate tiles over a concrete roof deck. The final type is located over 6-barrel style dormers, constructed of lead-coated copper. All roof systems will be replaced in their entirety. In addition to replacing the roof systems, the building will receive all new integral gutters to be tied into the existing downspouts. Existing metal copings will be replaced at the flat roof area and the existing chimneys will be re-pointed. The existing skylight will be removed and replaced Bid date note: The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "OMB/DFM CONTRACT NO. MC1002000815 - TATNALL BUILDING - ROOF REPLACEMENT - SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
