2024 Lift Station Improvements - Camelot Lane. Bidders must be pre-qualified with Rice Lake Utilities within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. Rice Lake Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Description: The proposed scope of work will generally include the following: o Construction of a 6-foot diameter precast concrete wetwell with integral valve vault structure near the existing lift station o Installation of approximately 70 feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer and 90 feet of new sanitary force main o Street repairs to patch the existing curb, roadway, and parking areas o Installation of new electrical power and controls to the lift station control panel o Demolition of the existing lift station structure o Installation of new piping and valves in the wetwell / valve vault structure o Bypass pumping of the existing lift station as required to provide service throughout construction o Installation of the pumps, base elbows, rails, and other equipment, as well as miscellaneous control panel modifications to be completed by Quality Flow Systems via allowance item in the contract o Pigging of approximately 2,100 feet of the existing 6-inch force main to be completed by allowance item by HK Solutions Group Question Deadline 08/21/2024 Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
