Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Major items include installation of play equipment and safety surface, 7,500 SF of sidewalk, 780 LF of curb, new parking area, site lighting, 410 LF of 12" HDPE storm sewer, stormwater management and pickleball courts. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Upper Chichester Township, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Act, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Upper Chichester Township reserves the right reject any or all bids thereof, and the right to waive any informalities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all of the bids which they deem are in the best interest of the Township.
