Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
A. Work Included: The proposed work includes new center road island with stamped concrete, a new community identification sign, replacing the existing curb and sidewalk, and installing a new ADAcompliant pedestrian ramp crossing. In addition, the work includes areas of full depth bituminous base replacement, mill and bituminous overlay, other related improvements, along with full restoration of all disturbed areas. B. All areas disturbed during construction shall be restored to its original condition or better. The Contractor shall be responsible to replace any curb, sidewalk, signage, parking meter, etc. per the lump sum site restoration item. No additional monies will be given to the Contractor to restore the site. All pavement restoration areas shall be neat, straight, joint lines. Narrow asphalt strips between curb and trench will not be acceptable. Twin Oaks Intersection Improvements The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay online Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through online and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Question Deadline 11/06/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Online Portal A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Upper Chichester Township, must accompany each bid. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with federal funds, and various federal requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to equal opportunity provisions. Davis- Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds, and the requirement of a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
