Work Type: ABK DBE Goal: 0% Guaranty Required: $20,000.00 With each sealed proposal, the bidder must include a properly executed bid bond or a cashiers check, certified check, bank's check, or postal money order in the amount designated on the Highway Work Proposal made payable to the Department. Certified checks shall be drawn on the account of the bidder submitting the proposal. Bidder prequalification is not required; however, prior to issuing a bidding proposal or awarding a contract, the Department may require the bidder to produce evidence that they have performed work of a similar character in a satisfactory manner. Bidders MUST obtain a bidding proposal as hereinbefore-discussed under PLAN HOLDERS and ELIGIBLE BIDDERS.
