The Town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, represented by the Town Manager, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids for drainage improvements at the newly constructed Fairbank Community Center, with an add alternate for accessible parking spaces in the West parking lot. The work includes installation of drywells, connecting roof leaders to drywells, associated piping, excavation, backfill, and landscape restoration. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of cash, certified check payable to the Town of Sudbury, bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Town, or a cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Town of Sudbury. The amount of such bid deposit shall be 5% of total bid including the add alternate . The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and materials payment bond as set forth in the bid documents. Attention is called to the requirements of minimum wage rates, as set forth in the contract documents, which shall be paid on this project. All bids shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after bid opening. The Town of Sudbury reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, or to accept any total bid or unit price which it deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Sudbury.
