The intent of this capital construction project is to improve operations at the West Three Forks Interchange on Interstate 90. Proposed improvements include intersection and ramp modifications to address current and future operational needs. Public outreach will be required to communicate with stakeholders and the public. Firms will be evaluated and selected based on their qualifications to complete PE phases, including all expertise required to provide comprehensive design services necessary for the project, including (but not limited to) roadway design; structures analysis and design; traffic engineering and operations analysis and design; hydraulics, survey, environmental, public involvement, R/W design, and potentially R/W acquisition. An alternative analysis is needed to consider traffic patterns (current and future), ramp functionality, intersection improvement options, safety and operations considerations, possible bridge construction options, environmental issues, right-of-way, utilities, geometrics and/or any other factors necessary to determine a preferred improvement alternative at this interchange. The end result of the alternative analysis will be a project recommendation (outlining the preferred alternative and costs associated with this alternative). By submitting a proposal, it is understood your firm has capacity to complete the work requested in a timely manner (in accordance with the negotiated schedule) and that you have an internal quality assurance/quality control process achieving industry standard expectations for quality. This project is in Broadwater County on National Highway Interstate Route 90 beginning at RP 272.7+/- and extending to RP 273.3+/-.
