The City of Newton is seeking qualified Architectural Firms to design a Fire Station in the citys Startown Community. The project will involve architectural services to prepare design and construction drawings which will contain customary technical information necessary for obtaining accurate prices from qualified contractors, obtaining necessary permits, and be sealed by professionals licensed in the State of North Carolina. Further services include site suitability, securing permits to construct, preparing cost estimates and bid documents, distribute documents, field questions from contractors, receive bids, and recommend award of contract. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City of Newton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted.
