Renovation of a municipal facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this project is to provide the necessary building infrastructure to support the replacement of the critical automatic transfer switch for the WorkSafeBC Richmond Complex (Building RC1). The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Install owner supplied critical automatic transfer switch; Relocate existing electrical infrastructure and run new conduits to facilitate installation at new location; Supply and install 2-hour rated cable from the 7th floor electrical vault to the 1st floor sprinkler room; including associated work, e.g., unistrut supports, scanning and coring, etc. Remove and reinstall ceiling tiles, ceiling t-bar, light fixtures, HVAC diffusers and ducting along the proposed pathway of the 2-hour rated cable as necessary to complete the installation; At the level 1 route provide approximately 60 linear feet of tarpaulin hoarding c/w telescoping pole supports, tape, etc., to ensure a dust tight screening; The Successful Bidder will be required to coordinate delivery and craning of the 2-hour rated cable into the 7th floor electrical vault; craning work to meet requirements of NAV Canada including submitting the Land Use Proposal Submission Form – Crane(s); Supply and install new fire pump controller in the sprinkler room; testing and commissioning of full system.
