Renovation of an educational facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Holyoke School Department is soliciting proposals for new railings fabricated and installed on the exterior set of stairs with minor concrete and granite stair repairs. located at Lawrence School 156 Chestnut Street Holyoke MA 01040 The City reserves the right to reject any and all offers. Scope of Work: 1. Provide the necessary means and methods to fabricate and install new railings on the stairs. Railings must be epoxied into the concrete or granite. Repair and patch the concrete landings. While cutting and chipping away broken and damaged areas as needed to perform the repair. Repair the granite stairs with backer rod and elastomeric caulking. 2. Provide a quality, high strength concrete with rebar doweling as needed on the landings. Form work and concrete finishing must match the existing conditions as best as possible. Provide and install new round steel railings with exterior grade paint installing them per the manufacturers instructions. 3. Provide the proper installation of the products provided by the contractor per the manufacturers installation instructions. 4. Maintain a clean work area, working with the owner for storage of materials and equipment. The disposal of all demolition materials and job site waste is the responsibility of the contractor and must be included in their bid. 5. Provide any building permits if needed to the building department and post them in the correct location.
