QUESTIONS DUE BY AUGUST 13, 2024 2:00 CDT The contractor shall install the Vindicator Intrusion detection system (IDS) and Hirsch Access Control (ACS) in the OSA for Building 90064, rooms 108 and 110. The contractor shall provide any support equipment required to integrate new intrusion detection equipment (IDE). Upon completion of work, this system must provide the capability to detect alarms and initiate responses in a manner that will aid preventing damage, destruction, or unauthorized access to the resource. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: 1.1. A Honeywell-Vindicator/Hirsch certified contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, travel, materials, tools, equipment, accessories and other items necessary to safely complete the installation of all components to Air Force standards set forth in certification standards AFI 31-101, Security Procedures for Headquarters 25th Air Force and related safety publications to include TIA/EIA-570, Residential Telecommunications Cabling Standards, TIA/EIA-607, Commercial Building Grounding and bonding requirements for Telecommunications, NFPA 70 National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, NFPA 780, Standard for the installation of Lightning Protection Systems and the Security Forces Non-Nuclear Configuration Management Equipment Approval (CMD) list, ate 08 December 2023, and the ESE-SIT . The contractor will also follow any applicable UFC guidance for the project described below. The contractor shall provide all the necessary tools and equipment to complete the upgrade.
