Cecil County Government is requesting quotations from parties interested in installing, operating, and maintaining five electric vehicle charging stations on County owned property. Two dual port level two charging stations will be installed at the Cecil County Administration Building (200 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD 21921). One dual port level three ("DC Fast Charging") station and two dual port level two charging stations will be installed at Calvert Park (304 Brick Meetinghouse Rd, North East, MD 21901). Maps contained in the Attachment Section titled Appendix A depict the locations of the proposed charging stations and their associated dedicated parking spaces. Electrical "make ready" work to support the installation of the stations is currently being performed by Cecil County Government's on-call electrical contractor. The electric infrastructure necessary to support the stations' operations will be subbed out to the proposed locations and ready for use. Question Deadline 09/09/2024 at 3:00 PM ET, All questions shall be asked using the question & answer feature via online. The Contract Payment and Contract Performance Bond are each to be in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the Contract amount. If the TOTAL BID AMOUNT is less than $100,000.00, the Contract Payment and Performance Bonds will not be required. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. Cecil County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. All contract awards are based upon budgetary constraints All projects are subject to funding approval by Cecil County Council and the Cecil County Executive. Some projects may also be subject to Federal, State, and/or local grant funding conditions and approval. All project awards are subject to required funding approvals.
