Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Murray, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 65,500-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project includes Architectural & Engineering Services to provide programming needs, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and construction administration for the New Veterinary Science Building on Murray State's West farm campus. An early feasibility report estimated that approximately 65,500 square feet will be needed for teaching and clinical facilities, that will be comprised of classrooms, offices, student services, anatomy complex, teaching surgery, skills lab, lobby, food animal teaching center and mechanical spaces. The desire is also to have ample covered outdoor space. The selected site for the new building will be at the West Farm with a facade facing College Farm Road in close proximity to the existing classroom building. This building shall be designed in such a way to allow for expansion and grow to the Vet Science program. The estimated construction budget for this project is $48,000,000 which is included in the overall project budget of $60,000,000. Of the total project budget, $10,000,000 is available in fiscal year 2024-2025 and $50,000,000 available fiscal year 2025-2026. Murray State University reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to request additional information, and to waive technicalities and minor irregularities in proposals when it is determined it will be in the best interest of the University to do so.
