General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Installation of new reinforced concrete piers, concrete basement walls and structural framing members supporting the Rail Trail Depot Building. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to; remove exterior building base trim covering perimeter 12" x 12" framing, clear out miscellaneous materials underneath structure, inspect existing structure for deterioration behind trim, repair & reinforce wood structure, shore and jack structure as required, excavate and prepare subgrade for new basement concrete with temporary shoring in place, pour new concrete footings, foundation walls and install new concrete filled steel support columns, sleeve foundation wall to accept new water and sewer lines, remove temporary shoring/jacking and complete attachment of building wood framing to new concrete, pour new concrete basement floor, backfill and prepare exterior grades and all other incidental items as noted on attached C. T. Male Associates drawings G-001, C-101, S-001, S-101, S102, S-103 and S-104 dated 8/14/2024. The General Contractor shall be solely responsible for satisfaction of all requirements described herein, including all attachments, drawings, and addendums. See attached drawings for additional detailed information. 1.2. Rail Trail shall remain open during Depot Building renovations. Rail Trail pedestrian travel, access and entrances shall be safely maintained at all times. Contractor shall provide adequate barricades and signage separating work from Depot Building and the Rail Trail at all times. 1.3. Provide material, labor, equipment, and installation to complete all necessary work as specified herein. 1.4. Coordinate all work with the Albany County Department of General Services Facility Engineering Division (ACFE). 1.5. Field verify all job conditions and dimensions prior to the start of any construction. Any discrepancies, substitutions or changes shall be brought to the attention of ACFE prior to the start of any construction. 1.6. Comply with all necessary OSHA regulations and standards, including but not limited to "PART 1926 SAFETY and HEALTH REGULATIONS for CONSTRUCTION". 1.7. Start work immediately upon receiving a Notice to Proceed from the County.
