Reference Number 0000359893 The City of Fruita (the "City") is requesting statements of qualifications to provide construction project management and materials testing for a Revitalizing Main Streets Grant funded project for South Mesa Street. This contract will be for construction project management and construction materials testing services. The project shall begin with demolition and removal of existing sidewalks and asphalt paving. Six hundred feet (600') of new sanitary sewer line shall replace an existing deteriorated sewer. New storm drainage and curb inlets shall be added. Street lighting shall be installed. Approximately three hundred and twenty five feet (325') of new seat walls shall be located in bulb-out areas. Landscape beds with trees and shrubs shall be added. An irrigation system shall be added to water the plantings. A new concrete diagonal car park shall be added. Colored concrete sidewalks shall be installed. New curb ramps shall be constructed. The roadway shall be repaved with asphalt. The City is thus requesting qualifications from persons/firms to provide construction project management and construction materials testing for all phases of the Project. This project is funded through a Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) RMS/ARPA Grant and Fruita General Fund Balance.
