Reference Number 0000376162 The City of Fruita is soliciting competitive Bids from qualified and interested contractors to submit Bids for all labor, equipment, and materials for purchase and replacement of five (5) HVAC units at the Fruita Police Department located at 157 S. Mesa Street, Fruita, CO 81521 (the "Project"). The Police Department building has three (3) rooftop units and two (2) ground mount units. The City is requesting the Scope include: 1. Disconnect the electric line & low voltage and gas lines to 3-rooftop units and 2- ground mount units, take them off site and dispose of. 2. Provide 5 HVAC Units, 3-units on roof and 2-ground mounted units w/following: a. RTU-1 is a 5-ton unit, RTU-2 through 5 are 4-ton units. b. Economizers for each unit c. Hail guards for each unit d. Horizontal barometric relief dampers for the 2-ground mounted units e. CS 1000 commercial programming thermostats. 3. No curb adaptors are required if switching like for like units. 4. Hook up electricity to each unit and provide new electric disconnects for each. 5. Hook up gas pipe to each unit. 6. New outside insulated ductwork for both ground mounted units. 7. Crane to lift all units away from building and lift new units in place. 8. Start up each unit, file a start-up report and check each system out for proper operation. 9. All shop and field labor to complete job. 10. Voltage is 208-230/1/60 for all units.
