Site work for a water / sewer project in Pontiac, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
** As of 10/22/2024 project will rebid. No definite for rebid.** Reference Number 0000359898 This project includes three main sections. Section 1- Storm system rehabilitation in several sections in the City of Pontiac. The rehabilitation includes cleaning and televising, as well as structural cured-inplace pipe lining of approximately 354 lineal feet of storm system consisting primarily of reinforced concrete pipe and corregated metal with Asphalt coating, ranging from 12-inch to 15-inch diameter. This project also involves the internal sewer spot lining of approximately 48 lineal feet, ranging from 12-inch to 42-inch diameter. As part of this project, 6 storm structures will be removed and replaced. Section 2- Replacing Drop Fall Structure on the south side of the train track. The existing drop fall structures will be replaced, using 6,000 lbs of steel for reinforcement, 48 lineal feet of guardrail, and 1,985 ft2 of permanent modified steel sheet piling. Section 3- Construct a buffer strip on the south side of Osmun Lake in North Kiwanis Park. One large tree and 20 understory trees will be removed, and there will be herbicide treatment of invasive species. There will also be multiple plantings for a total of 474 new plants, as well as native seeding. Overall, pavement repair, soil erosion measures, site restoration, temporary bypass pumping, traffic control, and an audio-video route survey will also be required. Contractor agrees to achieve Substantial Completion of the Work by JUNE 30, 2025, and Final Completion of the Work by JULY 30, 2025
