Jervis Fabric Canopy Replacement Canopy Replacement. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Canopy Replacement, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Vendor will remove old fabric covering canopy frame. Vendor will install new custom-made fabricated canopy over existing frame. Fabric needs to be of heavy materials and good quality. HV-OPWDD will need to approve materials being used before installation. Vendor is responsible for measurements, proper fitting, and fabric attachments to frame. HV-OPWDD will need to approve color before installation. Two (2)-Canopy posts will be replaced with minimum 2" x 2" galvanized square stock (1/8" wall thickness) with welded post base. Plate will be mounted to concrete with four (4) fasteners per base. Canopy post top plate will be welded to the post. Proper fasteners will used to attach canopy frame to post which can withstand high winds. Hudson Valley DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule.
