Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of street resurfacing including 53 SY removing concrete driveway, 1,438 tons superpave bituminous concrete wearing surface, 373 tons superpave bituminous concrete patching, 154 tons superpave bituminous concrete leveling, 232 tons aggregate surfacing, mobilization and traffic control, 136 CY topsoil, 100 tons micro-surfacing seal coat, type II, 1 mile solid traffic stripe removed, 1 mile broken traffic stripe removed and related items Unsuccessful bidders will be refunded 100% of the plan deposit for one set returned to the Engineer, in reusable condition, within 10 days after the bid opening. Additional sets obtained shall be refunded 50% of the plan deposit. All non-bidders, subcontractors, vendors or dealers shall be refunded 50% of the plan deposit for each set returned to the Engineer, in reusable condition, within 10 days after the bid opening. The plan deposit amount as indicated above is in accordance with Alabama Act No. 97-225 relating to the competitive bid laws for public works.
