Renovation of a transportation facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Phased Construction is underway. Estimate = total project construction cost estimate. Original solicitation referenced below for historical data purposes. The goal of this project is to expand Terminal 3 by approximately 631,022 gross square feet and to renovate approximately 516,644 gross square feet of the existing facility. The terminal will remain in operation throughout the project and will require extensive phasing. This will include upgrading building systems, seismic retrofit, improving passenger flow, enhancing the passenger experience, and new gates to maximize flexibility. Trade Package Scope Description: Provide coiling doors for SFO Terminal 3 West Addition at the Checked Baggage Inspection System and Material Recovery Areas. Turner is seeking RFQs for the following trade packages: Trade Package #58 Trade Package Name: Coiling Doors Only vendors who successfully meet the prequalification criteria and are deemed qualified to execute work in their respective scope will be invited to submit a proposal. Vendors who fail to submit the necessary prequalification information will not be considered prequalified and, consequently, will not be permitted to participate in the project. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, for the bid package will be available for bidding Q4 of 2024. Construction scope of work is expected to start in Q1 of 2026.
