Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in West Brandywine, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of multiple work scopes for all of the work necessary for the construction of an approximately 19,765 s.f. new addition to the existing North Brandywine Middle School. The existing middle school will be maintained throughout construction as an occupied facility. This Bid package includes but is not limited to the following: demolition of the existing modular classrooms, selective demolition of the existing building at the connection point of the addition, new construction of 12 classrooms, supporting spaces, and bathrooms, and sitework to construct the building, accommodate minor stormwater management facilities, and minor utility improvements. The Owner is entertaining receiving a combined bid for North Brandywine Middle School Addition as well as the Reeceville Elementary School Addition projects. The combined bid will need to be shown as two separate amounts in each bid form. Both project bid forms must have the same combined bid amount or the Owner reserves the right to reject the bids. All questions and clarifications will be published via addenda. The last day to submit a question is by EOD August 2, 2024. Bidders are responsible for any and all costs associated with the production of plans and specifications for their use.
