The United States Forest Service is soliciting for the Veterans Point Trail Rehabilitation project located on Black Hills National Forest, SD. Period of Performance: 10/30/2024 to 10/31/2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project Location: Veterans Point Trail is located along Highway 385 on the north end of the Pactola Lake Dam approximately 15 miles west of Rapid City, South Dakota in the Black Hills National Forest. This includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals required to perform all operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the project site, and other work that must be performed or that cause costs to be incurred prior to beginning work on the various items on the project site. This item includes all Division 1 requirements such as but not limited to mobilization, demobilization, Bonding and Insurance, testing, and temporary facilities. -This contract lump sum Item references FP-14 Section 203. This item includes all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals for cutting, removal, salvage, off-site disposal, replacement of asphalt pavement and base course, furnishings (tables and grills) and their concrete footings, and railings and filling holes and voids. This pay item also includes removal of benches, tables, and grills and their footings along trail and overlooks, and filling of holes and voids. This item also includes railing repair and replacement, with ancillary weld smoothing and primer application at locations at Site 9 and other location along Shoreline Loop of trail. This item also includes shaping and grading Site 9 to restore natural grade following material removal. Grinding of asphalt and base course to size for use on remainder of project is included in this Pay Item.
