Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
The City of Saskatoon requires a contractor to supply all labour, materials, and supervise the demolition of old landfill infrastructure and then development of the final lateral expansion of the landfill. The old landfill office, support structures, and transfer area will be demolished and removed. An area of site will have hydrocarbon contaminated soil excavated with old waste cells relocated onsite. The final footprint expansion will then follow by constructing a lined waste cell in the area where the office and transfer facilities were located.
