The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of re-roofing the following buildings as indicated. The replacement of six (6) asphalt roof sections on top of the 598 Plinguet St building. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Removal of approximately 8,945 combined squared feet of existing built-up roofing. (Roof#1: 2985 SQ FT, Roof #2: 920 SQ FT, Roof #3: 2240 SQ FT, Roof #4: 1665 SQ FT, Roof #5: 715 SQ FT, Roof #6: 420 SQ FT) (i) Inspection of metal substrate (ii) Temporary removal of mechanical and electrical equipment as necessary. (iii) Proper disposal of waste materials to landfill (b) Installation of Soprema SBS Modified Bitumen Roof System (i) Construction of approximately 100 meters of parapet wall (2x6, 16" on center, 1/2 plywood, roxul insulation) on welding rooftop (ii) Deck Board (Densdeck Prime or Securock 1/2 " mechanically fastened to metal substrate) (iii) Vapour Barrier (Sopravap'r self adhered) (iv) Insulation (Sopra-ISO Plus 2" adhered with duotack) (v) Base Membrane Sheet (Colvent 830 self adhered) (vi) Base Cover Strip (Sopraflash Flam Stick self adhered) (vii) Cap membrane (Sopraply Traffic Cap heat welded) (viii) SBS membrane flashings (ix) Metal cap flashings, scuppers, rain water leader (24ga) , etc, as required (x) Reinstallation of previously removed mechanical and electrical equipment (c) Final inspection and site clean up.
