Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Elk River, Minnesota. Working plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
As if September 17, 2024. Bids were rejected, no rebid date yet. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: Installation of 8700 SF of concrete drive and walk over existing gravel parking lot, 300 LF curbing, Concrete stairs with handrails, landscaping including 22 trees, 160 shrubs, Alternate includes 2 ADA concrete parking stalls and striping, and concrete walkway. together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Responsible Contractor Certification. SCHEDULE OF WORK: Expected work to start September 16, 2024. All work under the Contract must be complete by Nov 15, 2024. BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Elk River shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. All bids rejected.
