Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Elk River, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: Replacement of natural limestone block seat retaining walls with 700 LF of precast large block retaining seat walls. Work will include regrading for new seat walls, misc. restoration including sod, planting bed, irrigation, and paver walks. Alternate includes conduit and fiber installation. together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Responsible Contractor Certification. SCHEDULE OF WORK: Expected work to start September 16, 2024. All work under the Contract must be complete by May 15, 2025. BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Elk River shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
