The City of Siloam Springs is requesting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing Professional Engineering services for the development of a Waste to Energy (WTE) facility capable of processing 1,000 tons per day of municipal solid waste (MSW), generating electricity for the City, and producing high-quality marketable biproducts. The selected firm will coordinate with various city departments to conduct site selection, market analysis, conceptual plans, funding options, and other frontend engineering services. The SOQ's will be used for selection for the front-end engineering of a WTE facility to be designed and constructed in multiple phases beginning in 2024. Phasing for the design and construction of this project is expected to span multiple years. The name and address of the firm shall be on the outside of the package and include "Qualifications for Engineering Services - Waste to Energy Facility." The City reserves the right to issue a separate RFQ at any time for any job specific engineering selection.
