Renovation of a military facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Dyess AFB, TX has a requirement to remove old demo lighting inside the 7 BW/HC Chapel Santuary and replace it wil new lighting fixtures as well as add in new spotlights/floodlights. A more detailed list of what this requirement entails can be found in the SOW document. The information above is intended to be descriptive and not restrictive in order to describe the nature of the services requested. Interested parties are responsible for demonstrating to the Government their ability to provide the services as indicated. In order for your offer to be accepted, it shall include but is not limited to the following: Complete (must be signed) Page 3 & 4 of RFQ COMBO (or contractor equivalent). FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications para b only. computer-generated photometric plans for each space to verify proposed lighting design meets required criteria IAW Statement of Work 5.1.4 Lighting Calculations. Have quote be valid until 30 September 2024. Please submit questions to the email address, abigail.noe.1@us.af.mil, NLT 20 August 2024, 10:00 a.m. (CST). An amendment will be issued with answering all questions received. Project Summary: Replace and demo old lighting and provide with new lighting fixtures in the sanctuary area in the Dyess Base Chapel. 2. Work Description: The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items necessary to replace the chandelier lighting found in the Chapel Sanctuary in lieu of new lighting, with the ability to be dimmed as needed. Provide and install flood lights on a timer to accentuate the stained glass windows. This work shall be furnished and performed in accordance within this statement of work, any attached appendices, manufacturer standards, applicable US laws, commercial standards, and business practices. 3. Conditions of Work: 3.1 Work will be scheduled during normal business hours 0700-1600, however, the contractor may request and/or be required to perform work after normal duty hours or on weekends. 3.2 The contractor will conduct the work in a manner to keep to a minimum disruption of normal operations. 3.3 The work may be in an operational or controlled area. In the event of an "actual" or "exercise" scenario, it may be required that the contractor stop work until the event is complete. This delay will not be an additional expense to the government. Lost construction time due to stop work will be added to performance time. 3.4 It is the responsibility of the contractor to restore any areas/facility components, disturbed by their work to their original state. 3.5 The period of performance shall be minimized to the maximum extent possible.
