Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waco, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Resurfacing and Striping multiple roads. Haralson County is accepting proposals for resurfacing & striping 3.28 miles of Tolbert/Hutcheson/Winters from Coppermine Road to Rockmart Road. The road is to be resurfaced with Recycled Leveling including Bitum Tackcoat & H Lime ( 85#/SY) & Recycled 9.5MM Type I including Bitum & H Lime (135#/SY), totaling 220#/SY. No resurfacing shall be done unless the temperature is at least 45 degrees & rising; and all work is to be done to DOT specifications. The County reserves the right to do all, some, or none of the aforementioned. The County will bear the cost of any utility facility removal & the relocations necessary in connection with the construction of this project. County will be responsible for backfill to edge of pavement upon completion of resurfacing. The County will be responsible for the final grassing of project. The contractor will be responsible for signage & traffic control during the project & temporary pavement markings upon completion of resurfacing. The County will assess a $200.00 per day penalty after the 90 days have expired. Notice to Proceed will be issued & awarded & signed contract.
