Lump sum GRH and SMGH have started their journey to achieve its joint vision and mission to provide a world-class health system and an exceptional healthcare experience. For this reason, we are gathering information regarding parking management services and equipment to aid in planning for integration of our hospital sites and operations.
Scope of services the Hospitals are requesting include the following;
Collection and management of parking revenue and daily fees from visitors and patients
Parking lot management via on-site attendants (1 at each site, 3 total), remote monitoring services, reporting, and customer support
Access control services for pass administration and centralized management software, with access given to GRH Parking Services
Pass administration for employees across both sites; estimated total is 4,000
Servicing and maintenance for existing and new equipment
New pay-on-foot/pay-and-display equipment for GRH campus's (Freeport and KW Main)
New attendant kiosk at SMGH campus
GRH campuses operate 16 parking lots, with 11 ungated "rotary" permit display lots.
SMGH campus operates 6 parking lots, with 2 ungated "rotary" permit display lots.

The Hospitals are also requesting information regarding central management software along with details on pass administration software, access system capabilities, and product life cycle. The Hospitals request information regarding life cycle timelines and business operations. This includes the upgrade and update requirements of software along with pricing for updates and upgrades.
Updates - defined as essential, required updates to software and services the Hospitals have contracted, and is necessary to maintain functionality.
Upgrades defined as non-essential, non-required upgrades to software that improve service capabilities and features, but are not required to maintain functionality of parking services. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
